Earth Council Geneva's mission is to empower people around the world to understand environmental issues, and to encourage them to pursue sustainable development. We raise the awareness of compelling global challenges and, at the same time, embrace efficacious working solutions. We believe that our approach is unique, and that by rigorously adhering to the highest of academic standards, Earth Council Geneva can become the international paradigm for environmental education and problem-solving. To distribute facts and figures is one thing, but more importantly there is a need to find out important industrial best practices being adopted in countries. Therefore, Earth Council Geneva provides industry focused chat rooms for students of the courses and programs to talk to each other about such best practices. Our goal is to spread the message on best practices after the awareness programs and courses. That could be the biggest asset of such programs and courses. The core competency of Earth Council Geneva is content. We work closely with UN Organizations, Universities and other Non-governmental Organizations as well as corporations. We enlist the top experts in climate change, biodiversity, sustainability, or world trade issues, for example, and then reach out to people everywhere through the state-of-the-art technology of e-Learning. Our online interactive programs enable anyone with internet access to learn invaluable skills, to discuss ideas with others around the world, and to organize for meaningful and truly significant changes.
