Biodiversity

ImageBiodiversity is the variety of plants, animals, micro-organisms, and their ecosystems. It is important because plants, animals, and other living things are interdependent. Biodiversity provides fresh air, clean water, rich soils, medicines, natural beauty, and more. Biodiversity is diminishing in the face of several threats, including climate change, pollution, overpopulation, environmental degradation overexploitation and consumption, and invasive species.

Earth Council e-Learning is taking steps towards protecting and conserving biodiversity by offering online courses on biodiversity to global audiences.

The CITES Program comprises the following courses:

  • An Introduction to CITES
